About Me

I’ve traveled to 103 countries and renovated 5 homes. All while conquering daily mishaps {almost a way of life for me}. If you’re looking for boring travel tips and vanilla home renovation ideas than you have come to the wrong place! Here you will laugh your booty off at my expense. All while learning the FUN {and REAL} way to travel. You may possibly become amazed that my husband stays married to me as I am constantly throwing a wrench {or hammer} into our home renovation projects! But we believe it is all about the stories. And adventure by night means a great story by morning. Oh….I’ve also birthed 2 children. But they don’t cramp my First class lounge style. Now I just know the difference between a trip and a vacation.

My obsession with travel was instilled in me from birth. Both grandparents have traveled the world and passed that love on to my parents who travel-trained me so well that I was boarding airplanes by myself at the age of 6. The entirety of my great childhood memories revolve around family vacations (sorry mom for wasting time and energy doing boring daily activities with me). I want to pass this love of our big world on to my children and everyone I meet. I spent years working on yachts and escorting groups around the world via private jets and many of my stories will completely shock you. Now I’m building a life in Texas, yet still feel like I’ll explode if I’m not on an airplane every month.

Sadly my parents also instilled in me the need to be ‘responsible’. Ugh. This means I can’t handle the true vagabond lifestyle. So I own homes. And if I’m going to own a home I might as well LOVE it. While living on my favorite mega-yacht I stashed away enough cruising cash to buy a home (you know, something on land that didn’t sway with the wind). The only homes that appealed to me and, let’s be honest, my budget were the ones that needed major rehab. Some people buy houses that need a little ‘love’. None of my houses needed love. They needed a freaking intervention.

And I want to share it all with you. And so much more.
